New "Gurren Lagann" Project Teased with Special Website

Will drills once again pierce the Heavens?

The official Twitter account of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, a hot-blooded 2007 science fiction mecha TV anime directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi with animation by Gainax, has published a teaser website promising that a new project is "Coming Soon...". The website is available here.

Little information is currently available on the site itself, which features Gurren Lagann's iconic shades / flaming skull logo on a red background. The copyright information includes Gainax, Gurren Lagann screen writer Kazuki Nakashima, series co-producers Aniplex and Konami, and TV Tokyo.

The website's address (http://www.gurren-lagann-ps.jp/) contains the letters "PS", which some Japanese fans speculate could stand for "PlayStation", while others posit that it may mean "post script". Most interestingly, the page's HTML tags include the keyword phrases 大切 ("oogiri") and 再始動 ("saishidou"), which can mean "the final act of a play" and "restart", respectively.
