Singer Rena Uehara Goes On Hiatus for Medical Treatment

Uehara has performed songs for anime such as "White Album 2" and "Utawarerumono"

Singer Rena Uehara - who is known for performing theme songs and insert songs for such anime as the original Utawarerumono TV series, White Album 2, and Tears to Tiara - has announced that she will be taking a hiatus from work to recuperate from an illness.

Uehara had recently been complaining of difficulties with her voice, and she was later diagnosed with a psychogenic voice disorder. Uehara will be taking a break from her singing activities to focus on treatment. On her official home page, Uehara thanks her fans for their continued support.

On behalf of everyone at Crunchyroll, I'd like to wish Rena Uehara a speedy recovery. Get well soon.
