Coming in April 2016, the Bones' adaptation of Kōhei Horikoshi's Shonen Jump superhero-in-training manga My Hero Academia has the potential to be one the new year's biggest hits. Horikoshi is gearing up his cast for The Year of the Monkey's new-found fame with some help from the Martial Arts Hero "Tailman" Ojiro Mashirao (his name can be read as Monkey Tail).

Gundam Build Fighters' Kenji Nagasaki will helm the Bones (Blood Blockade Battlefront, Noragami, Space Dandy) production. He reunites with GBF writer Yousuke Kuroda for the upcoming TV anime.


Cast includes Daiki Yamashita as protagonist Izuku Midoriya, Kenta Miyake as his mentor All Might, Nobuhiko Okamoto as bully Katsuki Bakugō, along with Ayane Sakura (Is the Order a Rabbit's Cocoa Hoto, Love Live's Alisa Ayase) and Kaito Ishikawa (One-Punch Man's Genos) as classmates Ochako "Uravity" Uraraka and Tenya "Turbo Hero Ingenium" Iida.
