TV anime adaptation based on manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa debuts in April of 2016
Some new information about the upcoming TV anime Bungo Stray Dogs, based on the manga of the same name written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, is now available online:
Although the exact scheduling dates and times have not been revealed yet, it has been announced that Bungo Stray Dogs will broadcast on Tokyo MX, Teletama, Chiba TV, tvk, Gifu Broadcasting (GBS), Mie TV Broadcasting, Sun TV, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and BS11.
It was also announced that the ending theme for the series, entitled "Namae wo Yobu yo", will be performed by Luck Life.
Bungo Stray Dogs is an action series that re-imagines famous Japanese literary figures (such as Kenji Miyazawa, Edogawa Rampo, and Naomi Tanizaki) from the early 20th century as paranormal investigators with supernatural powers. The original Bungo Stray Dogs manga is serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace seinen manga anthology magazine.
The Bungo Stray Dogs TV anime is directed by Takuya Igarashi and features animation by Bones. It will begin its Japanese broadcast in April of 2016.
