Monthly Heroes, a manga anthology that specializes in publishing super hero comics, is partnering with China's largest mobile communications company, China Mobile, for digital distribution. The goal is to deter piracy and provide a quality product for the burgeoning Chinese market of manga readers to enjoy.
There will be 13 titles in the initial line-up for the Chinese language version of Monthly Heroes, including: Atom the Beginning, Aventurier, QUADRIGA - Tokugawa the Big 4 -, Sidekick★ Fighting Rule, The Gift of Both Wings, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, TOKKO ZERO, Dororon! OKUNI-chan, BUDDY SPIRITS, HERO COMPANY, BOOSKA+, BLUE NEST, and Afterschool Catastrophe -Re:THE END of the end-.
Digital distribution of the Chinese version of Heroes Monthly will begin in mid-March of 2016. Mugi Comic - a division of China Mobile that also distributes domestic, European, American, and South Korean comics - will handle the electronic publication, which will be available for PCs and smart phones.
