Kensho Ono, Ai Kayano to Lead in "ReLIFE" TV Anime

Other cast will be revealed at the Anime Japan 2016 event on March 27

NHN comico today announced the two main voice cast for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of So Yayoi's fantasy web manga ReLIFE, Kensho Ono (Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko'S Basketball) as the protagonist Arata Kaizaki and Ai Kayano (Meiko "Menma" Honma in Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day) as the main heroine Chizuru Hishiro. More details about the anime including other voice cast and visuals will be revelaed the stage event in the Anime Japan 2016 at 10:50 on March 27.


The manga featuring the 27-year-old protagonist Arata Kaizaki who experiences his second high school life by the ReLife Project has been published on NHN comico's "comico" website since October 2013. The latest fifth tankobon volume will be released on February 12, and a total print of the previous four volumes has reportedly reached one million copies. The TV anime adaptation is animated by TMS Entertainment for a premiere during this year. A stage play adaptation is also planned to perform in Tokyo and Osaka this fall.
