"Osomatsu-san" 2nd OP Song Sells 25,000 Copies in Debut Week

Highest ranking for the unit and the anime franchise

According to the latest Oricon report, six-member Japanese idol unit AouP's 5th single "Zenryoku Batankyu," released on February 10, sold 25,000 copies in its first week, ranking second in the weekly single sales chart. It has been used as the OP theme song for the second cour of the Osomatsu-san/Mr. Osomatsu TV anime since January 4.

 

It is the highest weekly ranking for both the unit and the anime franchise. The unit's previous top-ranking CD was the anime's first OP "Hanamaru Pippi wa Yoi Ko dake" ranked 15th in November 2015, and the franchise's was the first ED "Six Same Faces ~Konya wa Saikou!!!!!!" ranked third in December 2015. The latter has sold over 100,000 copies in Japan since its release.
