"Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic" Anime Movie Announced

2017 follow-up to the 2008, 2010 and 2014 TV anime and OVA will adapt the Ship Voyage Arc from volumes 11-14 of Yana Toboso's manga

Shortly after promotional material began a round of early circulation on Japanese anime blogs, plans were officially announced for a 2017 Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic anime movie. The follow-up to the 2008, 2010 and 2014 TV anime and OVA will adapt the Ship Voyage Arc from volumes 11-14 of Yana Toboso's manga, in which Ciel and Sebastian set out for Campania to investigate illegal human experiments aiming to revive the dead. 


Aniplex will be promoting the feature and selling advanced tickets at their AnimeJapan booth March 26-27.
