Sci Fi Manga "ēlDLIVE" Blasts Off with TV Anime in 2017

Adaptation of manga by Akira Amano will be animated by Studio Pierrot


ēlDLIVE, a science fiction manga by Akira Amano, is being adapted into a TV anime scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2017. Production details (such as the main cast and staff) have not been announced yet, although it is known that Studio Pierrot will be producing the animation for the series.


ēlDLIVE is serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump + ("Plus") website and smart phone manga app. The series involves a young boy named Chuta Kokonose who is socially ostracized because he hears voice that no one else can hear. It turns out Chuta isn't suffering from a mental illness, but rather he has been scouted by the space police organization "ēlDLIVE" to be a protector of intergalactic peace.
