Sakamoto Keeps it Cool in "Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto" Teaser Trailer

TV anime based on comedy manga by Nami Sano debuts on TBS and CBC on April 07, 2016


Crunchyroll previously reported about how Sakamoto desu ga? (aka Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto), a comedy manga by Nami Sano about a high school student who never loses his cool regardless of whatever ridiculous situation presents itself, is being adapted into a TV anime. Now a wealth of new information is available about the production.


First up, there's a new 45 second teaser trailer featuring Sakamoto keeping his cool:



Also, the details for the Japanese broadcast of Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto have been released. The broadcast schedule is as follows:


  • TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System): Every Thursday during the 26:38 time slot beginning April 07, 2016.
  • CBC (Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting Co.): Every Thursday during the 27:30 time slot beginning April 07, 2016.
  • MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System): Every Friday during the 27:10 time slot beginning April 08, 2016
  • BS-TBS: Every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning April 09, 2016.
  • CS-TBS Channel: Every Monday during the 25:30 time slot beginning April 17, 2016.

Finally, the opening theme of the series, entitled "COOLEST", will be performed by Customi-Z. The ending theme, entitled "Nakushita Hibi ni Sayonara" ("Good-bye to the Unnecessary Days"), will be performed by Suneohair.


Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto is directed by Shinji Takamatsu and features animation by Studio Deen. The original manga ran from 2012 - 2015 in Enterbrain's harta seinen manga magazine. An English language version of the manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
