Social game edition has atttracted 15 million registered users in Japan
A teaser site for the upcoming Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~, an arcade edition of Bushiroad and KLab's Love Live! School Idol Festival social rhythm game, today released a two-minute new PV explaining the game system and introducing more character card visuals.
The arcade edition is co-produced by Bushiroad and Square Enix, and the video is also posted on the latter's official YouTube channel. The social game edition started its service for iOS in April 2013 and for Android two months later, since then it has reportedly attracted 15 million registered users in Japan and 20 million worldwide.
While its official launch date has not been set yet, two location tests of the game are scheduled to be held
in this month, first in Tokyo (Sega Akihabawa New Store) and Kanagawa (Round One Yokhama Station West
store) from 13 to 15, then in Tokyo (Taito Station Big Box Takadanobaba), Osaka (Namco Umeda) and
Aichi (Nagoya Leisure Land Sasashima) from 27-29. Original character standees of the μ's members, with
which players can take photos, will be displayed at the stores.
