After falling out with Konami, Hideo Kojima officially announced his own independent Kojima Productions studio back in December, revealing a new logo (pictured right) in the process. An air of mystery surrounded the helmeted skull in the logo from the very beginning, and now Kojima has revealed the full figure known as Ludens. 

In the English version of his tweets Kojima says, "LUDENS, the icon of Kojima Productions. We'll deliver THE NEW PLAY in THE NEW FUTURE with the cutting-edge equipment, technology, & the frontier spirit. The gear he's wearing is the extra vehicular activity (EVA) creative suit."
