"Alderamin on the Sky" Announces Opening / Ending Theme Performers

TV anime adaptation of light novel series about a lazy, reluctant soldier's rise to power debuts in July of 2016

The performers for the opening and ending themes for Alderamin on the Sky, a TV anime adaptation based on a series of light novels about the improbable military career of a lazy young man who becomes a great general, have been announced.



The opening theme, entitled "Alderamin on the Sky", will be performed by Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. The ending theme, entitled "nameless", will be performed by Kano.



The original Alderamin on the Sky light novel series is written by Bokuto Uno and features illustrations by Sanbasō and Ryūtetsu. ASCII Media Works publishes the novels under their Dengeki Bunko label. The TV anime adaptation is directed by Tetsuo Ichimura and features animation by Madhouse, and it will begin airing in Japan in July of 2016.
