20 months after volume 4 of Hellsing creator Kouta Hirano's history versus fantasy action manga Drifters was collected, volume 5 is out in Japan today. This has been presented with a 36-minute version of the first two episodes of a TV anime adaptation, and the release is accompanied by news that the series is scheduled for October's fall season, and that Hirano, editor Fudetani Yoshiyuki and producer Yasuyuki Ueda will be presenting the anime at Paris' Japan Expo on July 7th.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure/Stardust Crusaders series director Kenichi Suzuki helms the production with Hideyuki Kurata (Grisaia, Maria the Virgin Witch, Nanana, The World Only God Knows) and Yousuke Yuroda (High School of the Dead, Gundam 00) writing series composition.
