"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Diamond is Unbreakable" Confirmed For 39 Episodes

The second quarterly phase, beginning in July, will feature the band batta on opening "chase."

In line with projections from earlier home video and French streaming listings, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Twitter feed posted a signal-boost on an Animage magazine July issue report that the anime adaptation of Diamond is Unbreakable will run three cours for a total of 39 episodes. The second quarterly phase, beginning in July, will feature the band batta on opening "chase."

Debuting April 1st, the anime will adapt the manga that ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1992 to 1995, collected in volumes 29-46 of omnibus JoJo's. It revolves around Stand-related horrors and mysteries abound in Morioh, a town in S-City, M-Prefecture (basically author Hirohiko Araki's hometown of Sendai, Miyagi prefecture).
