Re-edited TV version of web-exclusive tokusatsu series will debut on BS Asahi and Tokyo MX in July
Tokusatsu fans will have a lot to look forward to in the near future, because the web-exclusive Kamen Rider Amazons series is receiving a re-edited TV broadcast beginning in July of 2016, and a 2nd season is scheduled for Spring of 2017.
The re-edited TV broadcast of Kamen Rider Amazons, which will feature a new opening sequence, begins airing on BS Asahi every Monday during the 25:00 time slot (actually 1:00 AM JST on Tuesday) beginning on July 03, 2016. Another broadcast is scheduled to run on Tokyo MX every Wednesday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on July 07, 2016.
Kamen Rider Amazons is directed by Hidenori Ishida, Ryuta Tasaki, and Osamu Kaneda. The series is inspired by the darker themes and more adult tone of the 1974 Kamen Rider Amazon tokusatsu TV series.
Kamen Rider Amazons is currently only available via streaming on Amazon Prime Japan, but there are plans to bring the show to additional markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany in the future.
