"Yu-Gi-Oh!" Franchise 20th Anniversary Exhibition Planned This August

Advance tickets go on sale today, June 20

Special exhibitions titled "Road of Duelist" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, that started with Kazuki Takahashi's manga series in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1996, are planned to be held in Tokyo and Osaka this August. The events will feature the history of the successive Yu-Gi-Oh! TV anime series and its protagonists including Yami Yugi/Dark Yugo from the first series, and the evolution of the franchise. 

 

Tokyo venue: Akiba Square (August 13-17, 10:00-17:00)

Osaka venue: ATC special event space (August 26-30, 10:00-17:00)

 

Three-edition advance tickets go on sale today: 

 

 1,300-yen regular edition (no bonus item)

 3,300-yen 20th anniversary gift edition (five types: Duel Monsters, Duel Monsters GX, 5D's, ZEXAL, ARC-V)

 5,300-yen memorial medal set (featuring the TV anime series' protagonists)
