TV anime adaptation of Kadokawa cross-media franchise debuts on Japanese TV on July 09, 2016
A new trailer for Ange Vierge, an upcoming TV anime based on Kadokawa's cross-media franchise involving super-powered young ladies fighting to protect the world from destruction, is now available online. The trailer previews the setting, characters, and music of the series.
Ange Vierge is set in a fictional universe where the spontaneous opening of dimensional portals to alternate Earths has awakened magical powers in young girls. These girls use their newfound abilities to protect their home worlds from destruction. The franchise includes a trading card game developed by Fujimi Shobo and Media Factory (both divisions of Kadokawa) and a manga that was published in Monthly Dragon Age magazine.
The Ange Vierge TV anime will begin its Japanese broadcast on Tokyo MX and KBS Kyoto on July 09, 2016, with additional airings to follow later on TVA (Television Aichi Broadcasting), Sun TV, BS Fuji, and AT-X.
