"Yosuga no Sora" Japanese Bluray Set Includes Original Audio Drama

2010 TV anime based on adult visual novel features animation by studio feel.

Yosuga no Sora, a 2010 TV anime adaptation based on the adult visual novel by Sphere, is receiving a deluxe Bluray home video release in Japan in September of 2016.



The limited edition boxed set will include all 12 episodes of the series on 4 Bluray discs as well as the soundtrack for the series and a newly recorded audio drama CD. The packaging will feature new artwork by Takashi Hashimoto, the artist who provided artwork for the original Yosuga no Sora visual novel.



Yosuga no Sora is directed by Takeo Takahashi and features animation by feel.. The series is available in the U.S. via streaming on Crunchyroll and on DVD home video via Media Blasters. Crunchyroll describes Yosuga no Sora as follows:


"After losing both of their parents in an accident, Haruka and his twin sister Sora move out of the city to the rural town where they spent their childhood summers. In their new home, everything seems peaceful until Haruka discovers a special, forbidden love that may disrupt the entire town!"


The Yosuga no Sora Limited Edition Bluray Box will be released in Japan on September 21, 2016. It retails for 22,000 yen ($208.27 US) plus tax.
