Updated Look At "Token Ranbu: Hanamaru" Anime Character Designs Published

First of two sword-as-cute-boys anime coming this fall

This spring, plans were announced for a pair of anime based on Nitroplus and DMM's famous-swords-as-cute-boys game Touken Ranbu: a 2017 Ufotable series and a fall 2016 Hanamaru series.


The latest update is that an exhibit showcasing the work is planned for historically significant Kyoto's International Manga Anime Fair 2016 (September 17-18). Additionally, new character designs have offered a more thorough look at Hanamaru's leads, Yamatonokami Yasusada (Shinsengumi superstar Okita Souji's favorite sword) and Kashuu Kiyomitsu.
