The official website for the anime adaptations of Haruichi Furudate's volleyball-themed manga Haikyu!! officially confirmed today that its highly anticipated TV anime third season, titled Haikyu!! Karasuno High School vs Shiratorizawa Academy, is set to premiere on MBS, TBS, CBC, RKB, HBC, TBC, and BS-TBS on October 7.

It has been also announced that the new season's OP theme song "Hikariare" (Let there be light) is

performed by three-member Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES, while its ED song "Mashi

Mashi" is played by fou-member group NICO Touches the Walls. The former previously provided their

first major single "FLY HIGH!!" as the second OP song for the anime's second season, while the latter's

15th single "Tenchi Gaeshi" was used as the first ED song for the first season.
