Romance simulator featuring monster girls boasted 200,000 players at the height of its popularity

Sad news for fans of monster girl romance: digital media distributor DMM.com has announced that their romance simulator browser game based on Okayado's Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls manga and TV anime will be ceasing operations beginning on November 22, 2016.

The announcement came via a pair of tweets on the official Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Online Twitter feed, which apologized for the development, thanked fans for their long term support, and encouraged players to stay tuned for more information regarding the termination of service.

Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Online was a web-based dating simulator that allowed players to meet and woo monster girls through activities like shopping, sharing meals, and going out on dates. At the height of its popularity, the service boasted some 200,000 players.
