"Long Riders!" Japanese Broadcast Hits a Bump in the Road

Publication of the 3rd episode has been delayed until October 29, 2016

Bad news for fans of cute girls practicing the sport of long-distance bicycle riding: the production of the Long Riders! TV anime has hit a snag, resulting in the Japanese broadcast of the 3rd episode being postponed until October 29, 2016.

Announcing the delay via the official TV anime website and Twitter feed, the producers of the show apologized to the fans for the inconvenience and implored their patience so that production difficulties with episode 3, entitled "The New World", could be resolved. Instead of the 3rd episode, the 1st episode of the Long Riders! TV series will be re-run during the regularly scheduled weekly timeslot.

The original Long Riders! manga is serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Rex shonen manga magazine. The Long Riders! TV anime features direction by Tatsuya Yoshihara and animation by Actas. Long Riders! is currently airing in Japan on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and AT-X. It is also being simulcast in the United States and Canada by Daisuki.
