"High School DxD" New TV Anime Series in The Works

3rd short story collection "DX.3 Cross vs Crisis" will be released on November 19

More news is coming from Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016. It is confirmed that a new TV anime series based on Ichiei Ishibumi's High School DxD action fantasy light novel series is in the works. The light novel series has published 22 volumes since September 2008 and has printed over 3.1 million copies in Japan. Its latest third short story collection "DX.3 Cross vs Crisis" is scheduled to be released on November 19.


The love comedy action novel series has already been adapted into TV anime three times: the first High School DxD in 2012, second High School DxD New in 2013, and third High School DxD BorN in 2015. All of them were animated by TNK and directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa.
