Model / voice actress plays villain based on Japanese author Yumeno Kyūsaku in on-going action series
Model / voice actress Haruka Kudō (Sayu Yagami in Death Note) is joining the cast of Bungo Stray Dogs, a currently airing TV anime based on the action manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa that re-imagines famous literary figures as super-powered criminals and detectives.
Kudō plays Yumeno Kyūsaku, a young boy who is called by the nickname "Q". Yumeno is a member of the Port Mafia, but because of his loathsome special ability "Dogra Magra", he's spent years confined to a lunatic asylum. Yumeno constantly carries around a creepy doll. In real life, Yumeno Kyūsaku was the pen name for Showa era author Taidō Sugiyama.
The Bungo Stray Dogs TV series is directed by Takuya Igarashi and features animation by Bones. The 2nd cour of the series is currently airing in Japan, and is also available via simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll.
