This week, Coca Cola Japan has begun shipping a delightful holiday packing idea for its bottles of Coke, where you can unwrap the label, pull a draw string and turn it into a bow. It's accompanied by an ad campaign and a site for creating message cards.
Except, the thing is... while the internet is going wild for the bottles, and while it seems like a result of the Japanese impulse to personalize objects, Japan is just getting them early this year. The press release notes that they debuted in Columbia in 2013 and have been visiting different global regions since.
