Both volume 9 of Sankaku Head's Himouto! Umaru-chan manga, and the first volume of his spin-off Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan are out in Japan on November 18th. Shortly after an announcement was teased for these collections, a fan got a look at the books' covers and revealed that a new OAD is being planned for the series. The TV anime's cast and staff returns for the all-new episode (but is it time to cast Hikari Kongō?!)

An earlier OAD was released with volume 7 in August 2015.
