Hideaki Anno Opens Studio Khara Anniversary Exhibit With "Evangelion" Status Comments
At part of the look at The Past of Eva (Until Now), the Future of Eva (From Now On) and Present of Studio Khara (Now), Anno offered some comments on the upcoming finale of the Rebuild movies
On November 22nd, Evangelion and Shin Godzilla director Hideaki Anno opened an exhibit celebration the 10th anniversary of Rebuild producers and Evangelion rights holders Studio Khara at the Laforet Museum Harajuku (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo). At part of the look at The Past of Eva (Until Now), the Future of Eva (From Now On) and Present of Studio Khara (Now), Anno offered some comments on the upcoming finale of the Rebuild movies.
Anno noted that Khara was working hard on the final Rebuild, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, and that he was "trying his best." Still, when prompted for a time frame on his release, Anno stated that he didn't know.... which seems pretty consistent with animation director Takeshi Honda's recent comments.
