"NANBAKA" Anime to Continue on Crunchyroll with Season 2

Newly-announced follow-up will begin in January

The currently-running NANBAKA anime, based on the manga by Sho Futamata, will be continuing with a second season. The official website updated with news that season 2 will debut on digital services this January, and you'll be able to catch it on the same schedule—with no break between the first and second seasons—on Crunchyroll.

Season 2 will be 12 episodes, and while you dig into the rest of the first run you can check out the new visual below.

Crunchyroll's description of season 1:

Four men are assigned to Nanba, the world’s most formidable prison. Jyugo, a man who attempted to break out of prison and ended up extending his jail time; Uno, a man who likes to gamble with women; Rock, a man who likes to get into fights; and Nico, a man who likes anime. A super exciting action comedy about the daily lives of the prison’s inmates and guards.
