Cat cafes are gaining popularity all over the world, and it's easy to see why. Take Nekoya in Tokyo, for example. Visitors can pay 1,000 yen for an hour (200 for every 15 minutes after) to spend time with the cafe's seventeen cats in a giant playroom, avail themselves of 100-yen beverages, and settle in with everything from a manga library to massage chairs.

And when the holidays come, the cats get involved, too -- they went full Ghibli this past Halloween, and their Twitter @nekoyacafe has the photos to prove it.
