Sweets Shop Helps "Re:Zero" Fans Plan Romantic Christmas With Emilia Hug Pillow And Pseudo-Champagne

Anime x Sugar opens orders for lonely otaku looking to celebrate the holidays with a half-elf

 Japan has adopted the Christmas cake tradition, typically going for a sponge cake, frosted with whipped cream, often decorated with strawberries, on Christmas Eve. The idea is to share them with family and/or friends, but otaku sweets shop Anime x Sugar has a solution for the lonely geeks. Orders open today for many of their offerings, including a Re:Zero cake with some special add-ons. 


Orders are open today through December 20 for December 24 -27 scheduled frozen delivery.  Serving 3-5, it sells for 4,780yen with display button.


There's also Re:Zero decorated Chanmerry, a carbonated Champane (the name comes from CHAmpagNe MERry Christmas for kids/all-ages parties. The themed 360ml botth goes for 1,000yen.


Plus, there's a Santa Emilia hug pillow, going for 10,000yen. Delivery is slated for December, for the specific date is TBA.
