Hirata Productions, the voice talent company managed by voice actor Hiroki Hirata, is causing a stir on Twitter with a post that hints that more Tiger & Bunny may be on the way.
久しぶりに集合したこの面々、美菜子嬢もいますぞ♪— ひらたプロダクションジャパン (@hiratapro) December 22, 2016
"It's been a while since all these folks last gathered, and Miss Minako is here, too.♪
Now then, what work could this be?"
Have you figured it out?
Say, have you figured it out?
All right, everyone together now♪
One, two, three-!"
The star emoji at the beginning of the Tweet indicates that it was posted by Hiroki Hirata himself. The picture shows (from left to right) voice actors Taiten Kusunoki, Mariya Ise, Hiroaki Hirata, Masukazu Morita, and Kenjiro Tsuda. The "Miss Minako" who appears cut off at the right edge of the photo is presumably voice actress Minako Kotobuki.
If this line-up sounds familiar, it's because these actors portray the voices of Rock Bison, Dragon Kid, Wild Tiger, Barnaby Brooks Jr., Fire Emblem, and Blue Rose, respectively, in the 2011 TV anime Tiger & Bunny and its 2012 and 2014 sequel films. Already rumors are swirling among Japanese fans that more Tiger & Bunny might be in the works.
