"Battle Girl High School" Anime Scheduled For Summer

Reports out of events update plans for smartphone game adaptation

Back in April, for the game's first anniversary, Tokyo-based online game company COLOPL announced that an anime adaptation of its action RPG game app for Android and iOS, Battle Girl High School, was in the works. A Battle Girl Fes event was held today and reports out of the event were that this anime is now scheduled for summer 2017.

In the game, the player has the the role of a newly appointed male teacher at an all female high school, and supports the students' various battles against mysterious creatures from space. The game features many popular anime voice actresses, such as Aya Suzaki, Ayane Sakura, Sora Amamiya, Nao Touyama, Sumire Uesaka, Yumi Uchiyama, Yoshino Nanjo, Mutsumi Tamura, Aoi Yuuki, Misaki Kuno, Hiromi Igarashi, Ibuki Kido, Emir Kato, Hitomi Harada, Saori Hayami, and Maaya Uchida. They have also formed three idol units: Chuuuuu♥Lip, Sirius and Tiara, and have performed character songs for the franchise.
