Mari Iijima to Return to Anime Expo this Summer

Actress and singer known for her role as Lynn Minmay appears at CA con for the first time in almost 20 years.

Get ready to welcome the original Miss Macross back to Anime Expo: the anime convention will be presenting singer Mari Iijima at their event this summer.

While known best to anime fans as the voice of Lynn Minmay in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and Macross: Do You Remember Love, Iijima has a vast and varied singing career, including several self-produced albums. Her first English-language album, "No Limit," was premiered at her last AX appearance back in 1999.

Since then, Iijima has gone on to produce two dozen albums, and currently works through her own independent label, MARIMUSIC. Her 24th studio album, "Awakening," premiered last September. She continues to tour internationally performing her music, and has premiered at other conventions throughout the US.

Anime Expo 2017 will run from July 1-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Registration is currently open on their website.
