Tatsuya Himuro Gets Last Spot On "Kuroko's Basketball" x NBA Character Illustration Team

Eight character illustrations wearing NBA uniforms posted starting February 1st

We're now up to the final of the eight Kuroko's Basketball: Last Game x NBA team pairings, selected by manga author  Tadatoshi Fujimaki and drawn by the anime character designer Yoko Kikuchi. The introduction notes that they had to make sure to include Tatsuya Himuro since he grew up in the US, and, given his passion for basketball, had to have been a long-time NBA fan. He's paired with the Knicks, which was introduced to Japanese fans as a New York City favorite.


The collaboration items are scheduled to be sold at the Seibu Ikebukuro Flagship store in Tokyo and other selected stores. Details will follow soon. The film based is set to be released in Japan on March 18, 2017.
