Cast Visuals for "Ajin: Demi-Human" Live-Action Film Revealed

Takeru Sato-starring film will be released on September 30, 2017

Following 27-year-old Takeru Sato as the protagonist Kei Nagai, the official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Gamon Sakurai's Ajin: demi-Human sci-fi action manga series announced its additional cast and their visuals, including 35-year-old Go Ayano as the main villain Sato. To play the ex-military character, Ayano had to go through a four-and-half month physical training and calorie control, and dyed his hair silver before the shooting, .


The filming was already wrapped up on January 10, and the post production is scheduled to be completed in July of this year. As reported, the protagonist Kei, who was a high school student in the beginning of the manga story, is portrayed as a medical intern in the film, probably taking Sato's real age into consideration. 


Katsuhiro Motohira (Bayside Shakedown, Psycho-Pass)-directed film is set for a release on September

30, 2017, distributed by Toho.
