"School-Live!" Manga to Have 2 Million Copies in Print Next Month

Lerche's 12-episode TV anime adaptation is streamed on Crunchyroll

The official Twitter account for Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazines announced today that the Gakkou Gurashi!/School-Live! moe-survival manga series will have 2 million copies in print as of the release of its next 9th tankobon volume on March 11. The news will be also announced on the wraparound jacket band for the volume.


The manga is created by Nitroplus' Norimitsu Kaihou (story) and Sadoru Chiba (art), and has been serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward since its July 2012 issue. The story in the 9th volume will continue to the next chapter in the magazine's May 2017 issue to be released on March 24.


Its TV anime adaptation produced by Lerche was aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2015, and the manga series printed 1.2 million copies in Japan by the end of the TV anime's on-air.
