Takaya Kamikawa Provides Narration for "KADO: The Right Answer"

Original science fiction TV anime about 1st contact with mysterious extraterrestrials debuts on Tokyo MX on April 07


Takaya Kamikawa, an actor primarily known for his roles in film and TV drama, has joined the cast of KADO: The Right Answer (known as Seikaisuru Kado in Japanese), an upcoming original CG TV anime about humanity making first contact with a mysterious alien force. Kamikawa will provide the narration at the beginning of each episode.



The story of KADO: The Right Answer follows the protagonist Kojiro Shindo, who is a shrewd negotiator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. When his passenger aircraft is taking off from the Haneda airport, a mysterious giant cube suddenly appears in the sky. After growing bigger rapidly, it swallows the airplane with 252 passengers.



The name of the cube is "Kado." A mysterious person (?) Yaha-Kui Zashunina who comes out of Kado tries to make contact with human race, and Shindo in the cube has to work as a mediator between human and Yaha-Kui Zashunina. Meanwhile, Japanese Government also sends international negotiator Saraka Tsukai into Kado as their representative. Who is Yaha-Kui Zashunina, and what is his true purpose?



KADO: The Right Answer is directed by Kasuya Murata and Masaki Watanabe and features animation by Toei Animation. The series debuts on Tokyo MX on April 07, with later broadcasts following on MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System) and BS Fuji on April 11, 2017.
