Original story written by light novel author Satoshi Wagahara hits stores in Japan on June 07, 2017
The Japanese voice cast for the 2013 light novel to TV anime adaptation of The Devil is a Part-Timer! is reuniting for an original audio drama CD featuring a new story by Satoshi Wagahara, the author of the original light novels.
The new story is entitled "Maou, Suteneko wo Hirou" ("The Devil Adopts a Stray Cat"), and it will be published in Japan on June 07, 2017. It retails for 3240 yen ($28.23 US) and also features a cast commentary as a bonus.
The original The Devil is a Part-Timer! light novels are published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint, and an English language version of the series is also published by Yen Press. The 2013 TV anime adaptation is directed by Naoto Hosoda and features animation by White Fox.
Funimation distributes The Devil is a Part-Timer! TV anime in North America and describes the series as follows:
"Foiled by a hero when he’s inches away from conquering the world, the devil finds himself in modern-day Tokyo. With no real-world skills to speak of, the devil is forced to make ends meet flipping burgers at a fast food joint!
