Fate's Gears Are in Motion in New "Clockwork Planet" Trailer

TV anime based on "gearpunk" light novel series debuts on Tokyo Broadcasting System on April 06, 2017

A new preview video is now available online for Clockwork Planet, an upcoming TV anime based on the "gearpunk" light novel series written by Yuu Kamiya and Tsubaki Himana and illustrated by Shino. The video previews the opening theme, entitled "clockwork planet", which is performed by fripSide. 



Clockwork Planet is directed by Tsuyoshi Nagasawa and features animation by XEBEC. The story takes place in a setting where the Earth has perished and a new planet composed completely of clockwork mechanisms has replaced it. On this world, a chance encounter sets the gears of fate in motion.



Clockwork Planet begins its Japanese broadcast on TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) on April 06, 2017, with a later broadcast to follow on BS-TBS on April 08, 2017.
