3DCG theatrical anime film based on Capcom's acclaimed survival-horror series hits theaters in Japan on May 27, 2017
A new trailer is now available online for Resident Evil: Vendetta (known as Biohazard: Vendetta in Japan), an upcoming 3DCG anime theatrical film that takes place between the events of the Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard video games.
The movie features fan-favorite characters Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers tangling with an outbreak of the "Trigger" virus thanks to a terrorist biological attack.
Resident Evil: Vendetta is directed by Takanori Tsujimoto and features animation by Marza Animation Planet. The film hits theaters in Japan on May 27, 2017, and it will also be shown as a limited engagement at select theaters in the United States via Fathom Events on June 19, 2017.
