High School Quiz Anime "Nanamaru Sanbatsu" 1st PV Introduces OP Song by Mrs.GREEN APPLE

Masaharu Okuwaki (Kirarin Revolution)-directed series is set to premiere on July 4

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ikura Sugimoto's high school quiz competition-themed manga Nanamaru Sanbatsu today posted a 60-second PV introducing its OP theme song "On My MiND" performed by five-member Japanese rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE.

The band was formed in 2013 and made their major debut from EMI Records in December 2015 releasing their 1st single "Speaking," which was used as the 4th ED song for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V TV anime.

The TV anime, directed by Masaharu Okuwaki (Kirarin Revolution, Age 12: A Little Heart-Pounding) and animated by TMS Entertainment, is set to premiere on Nihon TV at 25:59 on July 4 (JST). The manga has been serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Younge Ace since December 2010, and its next 14th tankobon volume is scheduled to be released in Japan on the same day as the TV anime premiere.

The title is taken from "7○3×," a form of buzzer quiz (you need to give seven correct answers first to win,

and you lose automatically when you give three wrong answers). The story centers on a senior high school

student, Shiki Koshiyama. Invited by his classmate Mari Fukami, he is fascinated by the art of buzzer-pressing

and decides to join his school's quiz club.
