"Denkigai no Honya-san" Manga Closes Up Shop in 6 Chapters

Asato Mizu's romantic comedy about an eclectic group of book store employees has been running since 2011

According to the July issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic FlapperDenkigai no Honya-san ("The Booksellers of Electric Town"), a romantic comedy manga by Asato Mizu about the oddball employees who work at the Umanohone bookstore in Akihabara, is counting down its final six chapters.



Denkigai no Honya-san has been serialized in Comic Flapper since 2011, and the series has been collected into 14 manga volumes with a total of over 1 million copies in print. Denkigai no Honya-san also inspired an anime adaptation in 2014 known as DENKI-GAI which features direction by Masafumi Sato and animation by Shin-Ei Animation.



The final chapter of the Denkigai no Honya-san manga will be published in the December issue of Monthly Comic Flapper, which will be released in Japan in November of 2017.
