Actually, there's a reasonable justification for a crossover between Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Wake Up, Girls! in that they share a hometown

The WUG idols have been practicing their JoJo Dachi aand are now ready to show off the results. Actually, there's a reasonable justification for a crossover between Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Wake Up, Girls! in that they share a hometown.

Jojo Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable was set in S-City, M-Prefecture (aka Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture), then Part 8/JojoLion returned their in the wake of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake/tsunami. Wake Up, Girls!, was similarly developed in Sendai in the wake of the natural disaster.

The seven idols WUG (Mayu Yoshioka, Airi Eino, Minami Tanaka, Yoshino Aoyama, Nanami Yamashita, Kaya Okuno, Miyu Takagi) have put star marks on their necks and adapted the poses of Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna, Joylne Cujoh, and ... well, it's complicated, but he's the protagonist of JojoLion (Steel Ball Run's Johnny Joestar gets left out).

Goods with 2D and 3D depection of the idols are being offered in Sendai City as part of the 30th annviersary JojoFest in S City promotion August 12-September 12.
