"Kizumonogatari VR" Looks Back at Anime Film Adaptations on July 12

Free release combines virtual reality and projection mapping

Back in May, plans were revealed for a Kizumonogatari virtual reality experience on PlayStation VR, and now we have a release date for the collaboration between Sony, Aniplex, and Kayac. Kizumonogatari VR will be available as a free download when it hits the PlayStation Store in Japan on July 12.

The experience celebrates the trilogy's release on Blu-ray and DVD. Visualized through projection mapping, Kizumonogatari VR offers a unique way to revisit the trilogy of Kizumonogatari anime films alongside Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade herself.
