Fans gather to celebrate the "Pretty Rhythm" spinoff -- and some of the fans are extremely dedicated.
KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO- has been going strong since its release last month. Within two weeks, it pulled in 200 million yen at the box office. To celebrate its success, a live event was held for fans, featuring appearances from the voice actors behind anime boy band Over the Rainbow.
The turnout was as massive as expected, with some fans saying they had been to see the film in theaters more than 30 times! They could mark that up to 31 during the event, as it included a screening of the film broadcast to 42 theaters nationwide.
Fans were also treated to a live chat with the three leads -- Tetsuya Kakihara, Tomoaki Maeno, and Toshiki Masuda -- in which they talked about their love of the series and revealed a few behind-the-scenes secrets.
KING OF PRISM appears to be going strong with its fan base. Could there be more to come in future?
