Prior to the screenings, a live-talk event featuring original Godzilla suit actor Haruo Nakajima, Heisei series producer Shogo Tomiyama, and Shin Godzilla co-director Shinji Higuchi will also be held.

The "Godzilla Cinema Concert" event consists of two screenings (one at 3PM JST and one at 7PM JST) on October 31, 2017, in Hall C of the Tokyo International Forum in Marunoichi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Conductor Kaoru Wada leads the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra for the performances, while vocals will be provided by the choir group Chor June.

The original 1954 Gojira film is directed by Ishiro Honda and features music composed by Akira Ifukube. The film will be screened in the original Japanese language with English subtitles. Tickets to the screenings range in price from 5000 yen ($45.28 US) for Class A seats to 9800 yen ($88.75 US) for Class S seats.
