Lerche-animated new series is set to premiere this October
The official website for the upcoming new TV anime adaptation of Keiichi Sigsawa's Kino no Tabi/Kino's Journey fantasy light novel series is today updated with a key visual featuring its six main characters. The novel series was previously animated by A.C.G.T (2003, 2005) and Shaft (2007).
The upcoming Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series is animated by Lerche (Assassination Classroom, SCHOOL-LIVE!) and is set to premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS 11 in October 2017. Tomohiko Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists) serves as director, alongside series composition writer Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, Hina Logi ~from Luck & Logic~) and character designer Ryoko Amisaki (Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School).
It is also confirmed that the TV anime's yet-titled OP/ED songs are performed by 30-year-old singer-

"Jikan wa Mado no Mukougawa" released last Wednesday is now used as the ED theme for the TV anime
She says on her official Twitter, "I will produce the OP/ED theme songs for the TV anime Kino's Journey
-the Beautiful World- the Animated Series to premiere in October. I am so happy to work for the series
in which I was absorbed in my student days...!"
