Steampunk Romance "Code: Realize" Launches on October 7th

Adaptation based on Otomate's visual novel will broadcast on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and other stations


The Japanese TV schedule has been announced for Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth, an upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the visual novel by Otomate that follows the romantic adventures of a mysterious young woman and her famous paramours (including Arsène Lupin, Victor Frankenstein, and Abraham Van Helsing) in a steampunk version of Victorian London.



Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:


  • AT-X: every Saturday during the 20:00 time slot beginning on October 07, 2017.
  • Tokyo MX: every Sunday during the 25:35 time slot beginning on October 08, 2017.
  • Sun TV: every Tuesday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on October 10, 2017.
  • TV Aichi: every Wednesday during the 27:05 time slot beginning on October 11, 2017.
  • BS11: every Thursday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on October 12, 2017.


Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 27:05 time slot on Wednesday evening is actually at 3:05 AM JST on Thursday morning.



Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto and features animation by M.S.C.. The original Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth visual novel is released for PlayStation Vita in North America by Aksys Games, who descibe the story as follows:



Restricted to an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of London in fulfillment of a promise to her father, lonely Cardia lives day to day isolated from the world. Her body carries a deadly poison that rots or melts anything her skin touches, prompting the locals to call her a “monster.” Her last conversation with her father two years ago, telling her to stay out of sight and never fall in love, is the furthest back she can remember. One day, her quiet solitude is interrupted as the Royal Guards break in to capture her. It is then that Cardia meets Arsène Lupin, a chivalrous thief, who helps her escape the soldiers’ clutches. She soon finds herself on a journey with Lupin to locate her father, who holds the answers to her mysterious condition. The two are soon joined by four more interesting and handsome gentlemen…
