"Encouragement of Climb" Celebrates New Anime with Camping Event

"Encouragement of Climb Camp Festa 2017" will be held in November at the Naguri Genki Plaza campgrounds

 

Encouragement of Climb (known in Japan as Yama no Susume), a moe / mountain-climbing manga by Siro, is getting a new OAV in October of 2017 and a 3rd TV series in 2018, and to celebrate these new works of animation, the series is encouraging its fans to enjoy the great outdoors at a special camping event in November of 2017.

 

 

The event is entitled "Encouragement of Climb Camp Festa 2017", and it will be held from November 11 - November 12, 2017, at the Naguri Genki Plaza campgrounds in Hanno, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

 

 

The original Encouragement of Climb manga is serialized in Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star manga magazine. The Encouragement of Climb TV anime is directed by Yusuke Yamamoto and features animation by 8-bit. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:

 

 

Aoi prefers indoor hobbies and is afraid of heights, but her childhood friend Hinata loves to show off her passion for mountain climbing. As young children they once watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain, and now they've decided to take up mountain climbing in hopes of seeing that sunrise again. They have cooking battles with mountaineering gear, climb small hills in their neighborhood, and meet new mountaineering friends as they learn the ropes of the hobby. When will they finally see that sunrise again?
